Vascular Anomalies Follow Up Work is a private tool used by one clinic's medical team to record the follow-up of patients with vascular anomalies. It is not a public service.
Patient records entered by the clinic team (name, date of birth, sex, phone number, diagnosis, investigations, treatment and follow-up notes, and clinical photos and reports), and the team's own app accounts (name, username, optional Gmail address and phone, and an encrypted password).
All records and files are kept in the clinic's own Google account: a Google Sheet and Google Drive folders owned by the clinic. The app's server code runs on Cloudflare and reads and writes that Sheet and Drive on the clinic's behalf, using a permission the clinic's account granted. Google access is used only for this purpose: reading and writing the clinic's own Sheet and Drive files, and sending account emails (such as password resets and approval notices) from the clinic's account.
Only members of the clinic team with an approved account, and the clinic's own Google account. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than the clinic's care of its patients.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is not transferred to third parties, used for advertising, or read by humans except the clinic's own staff.
Records can be moved to the recycle bin in the app and removed by the clinic's administrator; the clinic can also delete the Sheet and Drive folders at any time.
